Caliwood started with a simple idea: to create beautiful, timeless pieces that people genuinely enjoy wearing, gifting, and making part of their own story. I've always believed that the little details, a favorite scarf, a classic piece of jewelry, or a meaningful keepsake can become part of life's most memorable moments.

Living in Southern California inspires so much of what I create, but one of my greatest sources of inspiration is people. Seeing the kindness, strength, and thoughtfulness in others encourages me to create pieces that celebrate those moments. Being inspired by others is what inspires me most.

One of my favorite things is seeing a military spouse choose a brooch or gift for another spouse. There's something so special about women celebrating and encouraging one another through life's milestones, whether it's a promotion, a deployment homecoming, a retirement, or simply letting someone know they're appreciated. Those moments remind me that what we give can carry meaning far beyond the gift itself.
